Happy October, fall is finally here with some cooler weather. Great news for golfers. Not
a lot to report on yet. Will let you know in Big Sir remarks at the meeting.
As you all know from the last luncheon, Bernie’s wife is ill; so, in order for Bernie to con
centrate on taking care of his wife, I will be taking over Sunshine until Bernie can resume
his position. If you know of any Sirs that are sick or hospitalized, please contact me at

However, there is something I need to tell you about. We have received information from
Pardini’s that people are changing their orders AFTER telling the callers what they want.
There will be a meeting after our luncheon with the callers to determine how to address
this problem. It will take some time to figure it out so please be patient. We will be hear
ing about a system that will keep tract of WHAT you are ordering, and you will receive
from Nick at check-in the card of what you ordered.
The problem with changing your order at check-in, is that Pardini has made the lunches
based on the information received from the callers. If people change their order at check
in then Pardini’s has to make more of one order and have too many of the original order
and Sirs is stuck paying for the lunches not used.
Will let you know in the future what decisions the BEC has made.
