I owe a big thank you to everyone involved in making our May meeting so informative and
enjoyable. Judging from the questions at the end of the presentation, Jennifer Shantz spoke on
a topic of interest to a great many of those attending. In June, we look forward to hearing from
Jodie Holman with Mosquito Abatement – a topic I know will be all too relevant.
I also appreciate everyone who made a timely response to our callers about attendance and
menu preferences. As I announced at the May meeting, the BEC determined that we will not
be able to feed those who have not responded to their caller by the deadline to inform
Pardini’s. We hope you will still attend. We just can’t feed you.
I am still looking for someone who can take over Bernie Hollenbeck’s duties, not the least of
which is lugging that box of name badges. If I ask (beg?) you to consider this, please say “yes.”
I hope to see all of you at your June meeting.
