Happy September to all the Sir. The weather will begin cooling down as fall will be upon
us, and I don’t know about you but I am tired of the heat, AND, THE KIDS ARE BACK
IN SCHOOL!
I will be participating in a leadership meeting in the Bay Area, so, we will see what hap-
pens. I will report out in October.
I want to make sure I clarify what was mentioned in Big Sir remarks at the last meeting.
As you know we were in negotiations with Pardini’s for our luncheon meetings for next
year. Knowing that everything is going up we were a little apprehensive about what the
luncheon would cost. We were pleasantly surprised when we found out that the cost
would be increased by $1. Yes, that is correct $1.00.
Because we were already charging $25.00 for your lunch that was costing us $23.95, the
increase to $24.95 would give us a $.05 surplus per meal. We wanted to maintain the meal
at $25.00, so to give us more of a buffer, the BEC decided to make a one-time increase of
your club dues from $20.00 to $30.00. That would allow us to keep the lunch at $25.00
while also giving the club the buffer necessary to keep solvent. Therefore, your club dues
in January will be $30.00 and your monthly lunch will be maintained at $25.00. Hope this
clarifies answers any questions you may have had.
Happy September to all. See you at the next meeting.
