Secretary’s Note:

As we near the day when all our SIR 169 folks can get together again for our monthly luncheon and other activities, let us keep in mind that the COVID 19 epidemic may shortly be on the wane, but is not over.  Let us all encourage our friends and loved ones to take the most important steps to protect ourselves and others from this life changing disaster.  Remember to give proper space to others, wear masks and encourage everyone to get vaccinated.  When we do get together again, lets all participate actively in the Chapter.  Us old guys on your Board of Directors need some new inspiration.  We can't express enough the importance of having all members involved not only through participation in the Chapter's activities, but also by being active in the determination as to what additionally we should and can do to make participation as rewarding as possible.  To assure that our the Chapter remains current in the planning and conduct of what we do,  the newer and younger members need to be an integral part of those efforts.  We ask all who might be interested in playing a role in the activities or leadership of the Chapter to step forward and give us the benefit of your thoughts and participation.
